JUSTICE

The following was given to me during a private conference with the Lord on July 5, 2003. It is given here exactly as I heard it.

Let Me tell you about justice. All My ways are justice for I am a God of truth and without injustice. (Deut. 32:4) You already know that My justice is always carried out with mercy. I’ve already taught you this. I do not cast aside My merciful nature when I carry out justice on the earth. But My ways are not your ways and you do not always (or even usually) see from My perspective and My vantage point. That’s why you must continually come up higher and experience more often being seated with Me in the heavenlies. This is a practical necessity for life in the Spirit. To do this, you must be fed by the Spirit. Remember I told you that one of the jobs of the Holy Spirit was to “bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” (John 14:26) This is the value of reading My word and hearing it spoken. It is only as you do this that the Spirit can then bring things back to you that you’ve read and give you understanding. How many times, just in the last three days of this conference, have I brought a verse of scripture back to your remembrance and given you more understanding?

Preach this word. Tell people to read the Word. I’m not against studying it. But too much of what people call studying scripture is simply reading and learning what man has to say. This is good for I like to use man to enlighten the hearts and minds of others. I use you for this purpose. But I want you to preach to people that this is not to be their primary source of revelation. I want to be their primary source. I can teach even the slowest-witted person. I know how. Give the Holy Spirit more opportunity to do His job. Learn the word. Eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all times in between. Tell the women who cannot read to concentrate on learning one passage at a time. Tell those who can read, to use their ability to read to bless those who can’t. Tell preachers to conduct services where there is no preaching, only the reading of My word.

Why is the reading of My word connected to justice? I am a just judge. (Psalm 7:11) Since I am and I am also the Word made flesh (John 1:1,14) than justice, true justice, is not just My nature, it is me! (Acts 7:54; 3:64; 22:14) I sit on the throne and judge in righteousness. (Psalm 9:4) Justice and righteousness cannot be separated. “For the word of the Lord is right, and His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” (Psalm 33:4-5) David spoke this and it is truth.

Look at history. Watch the events being played out in the world today. You will see the truth of this scripture as you see My goodness working righteousness and justice. That is why I laugh at the nations who devise vain things. (Psalm 2:1-4) Righteousness and justice are why I bring the counsel of the nations to nothing and the plans of the peoples of no effect. (Psalm 33:10-11) My righteousness is like the great mountains and My judgments are a great deep. (Psalm 36:6) I will bring forth justice for truth and I will not fail or be discouraged until such time as I have established justice in the earth. (Isaiah 42:3-4)

If I have determined not to get discouraged so should you. I am in the process of doing this with greater speed than ever before. When justice is established in the gate, My graciousness follows (Amos 5:15) for I am the very justice that is positioned in the gate. It cannot happen apart from My presence! For I am the One who pleads the case of the people and I am the One who executes justice. (Micah 7:9)

When the prophet called for justice to roll down like water, He was crying for My presence. (Amos 5:14) So how do you bring about justice in the practical affairs of everyday life? “These are the things you should do:

1.      Speak each man the truth to his neighbor;

2.      Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;

3.      Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor;

4.      And do not love a false oath. (integrity again)

For all these things are things that I hate.” (Zech. 8:16-17)
