ILLNESS

WHY PEOPLE BECOME ILL

1.  A natural law. is broken. Healing comes from surgery, taking medicine, food supplements, or eating special foods.

    I Timothy 5:23

2.  It is the result of demons. Deliverance of some kind is the only cure.

3.  The illness is caused by sin. God's forgiveness must be experienced and the sin discontinued.

 4.  It is their means to enter heaven. The person who is dying, continues to fulfill the work God has for him until the moment of death, she has a testimony on her lips, and a song in his heart.

             II Kings 13:14

5.  The illness is for the glory of God, for His power to be manifest. These illnesses are often healed instantaneously.

            John 9:1-3

6.  The illness is "a cross to bare" such that for function to continue, the continuous power of God is manifest. The illness is seen as a means to draw closer to God and to bring others to Him. There is no  complaining – or bragging.

7.  Intercession. The illness lifts when the intercession is finished.
