Mission Statement
|
A PRAYER OF RENUNCIATION Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me so much that You gladly bore my sins on the cross that I might receive forgiveness and become a new creation in Christ by faith in the blood You shed. Lord, I confess that I have fallen prey to the evil forces of this world who are under the control of Satan. I renounce him and all other principalities, powers and wicked forces that are not of You. I confess that I have sought supernatural experiences that are strictly forbidden in Your Word. I have knowingly and unknowingly sinned against You. Please forgive me for my curiosity and/or involvement in the following things: I renounce witchcraft. I renounce magic, both black and white. I renounce ouija boards, dungeons and dragons, and all other occult games. I renounce seances (meeting with the dead). I renounce clairvoyance (ability to perceive things not in sight). I renounce mediums ( those who give dead spirits voice). I renounce ESP and second sight. I renounce mind reading. I renounce astral projection. I renounce automatic writing and handwriting analysis. I renounce fortune telling, palm reading, tea-leaf reading, crystal balls, Tarot and other card laying. I renounce astrology and horoscopes. I renounce reincarnation and yoga. I renounce healing groups involved in metaphysics. I renounce hypnosis for whatever reason. I renounce curiosity outside Your will about the past or future. I renounce water witching or dowsing. I renounce levitation, body lifting, table tipping, psychometry. I renounce every cult that denies the blood of Christ. I renounce every philosophy that denies the Divinity of Christ. Lord, I pray that You would set me free from everything that is not of You. I promise to destroy all books, records, tapes, videos, or any type of literature about any of these subjects in my possession. Please clear my mind from the pollution they have caused. In the name of Jesus, I break any psychic heredity, demonic physical or mental illness, or any other hold upon me as a result of the sins of my ancestors. I also break the power of any demonic control that I have allowed anyone to have over me. I renounce all sinful desires that draw me from the love of God and I turn to Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I put my whole trust in His grace and love and promise to follow and obey Him as my Lord. Please fill every part of my being that is now empty as a result of this prayer of renunciation with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You!
